"Because Nice Matters"

Greetings from Mrs. Hill

Dear Class,

Thank you for the beautiful cards. I am doing OK. I’m sure you already know that I had to have some surgery to take out something called the gall bladder. It happened quite unexpectedly, or else I would have told you about it ahead of time. I know you are all working hard for Ms. Wohlfeill and doing a great job on the MEAP test. We worked hard to get ready and I know that you will do your best, even though I will not be there for some of it.

The doctor said that I had to rest all this week. I am correcting your papers so that I can keep up with how well you are doing. I miss you all and hope to see you next week. If you have any free time I would enjoy getting a story or a letter from you. That would keep me from getting bored. Be good!

Love,
Mrs. Hill

P.S. Don’t forget how to dance while I’m gone!!!

**When students were feeling sluggish near the end of the day, she would have them get up and dance to 60’s music to liven them up.**
